3 Dynamic all rounders India will look after before T20 World Cup

If you talk about T20 cricket, all rounders plays the most vital role in this format. They bat deep and finish matches for you, they chip in with few crucial overs, can take blinders and save runs for their side and above all, they give a perfect balance to the team.

If we think of the best all-rounder in cricket history ‘Jacques Kallis‘ is the names which come to our mind. Surely he was the world no 1 all-rounder in cricket.

However, cricket has changed a lot now. We have witnessed many dynamic all rounders in recent past. Ben Stokes, Jason Holder, Ravindra Jadeja are undoubtedly the best all-rounder in the world at present.

World T20 2021 is not too far away and like any other team in the world, India will have to figure out their best all rounder in T20s.

Here is the list of top all rounders in India whom India will look after keeping World T20 in mind.

1. Hardik Pandya

best all rounder in the world
Kung Fu Pandya

The dynamite, the freak, the power hitter Hardik Pandya. The amount of power he generates while hitting sixes is unbelievable.

One of the cleanest hitter of the ball, probably best all-rounder in IPL even in international T-20s.

He is recovering from an injury so hasn’t bowled much in a while. Still, playing as a proper number 6 batsman for his franchise as well as India. Tells you how important Pandya is in shorter formats.

He had the reputation of hitting big sixes against spinners but if you see the last 1 or one and a half years he has smashed the quality fast bowlers as well. Maybe not bowling much has allowed him to concentrate more on his batting.

He is athletic, he can sprint, he can hit the bowlers all over the park. Imagine when he starts bowling regularly again he will become the complete package before the World T-20 this year.

2. Ravindra Jadeja

Rockstar Jadeja! That’s what Shane Warne calls him. The rise of Ravindra Jadeja as a batsman is quite outstanding.

From a tag of “bits & pieces cricketer” to the top all rounder in world cricket across all 3 formats. Sir Jadeja for a reason :-8

From the last 2 years or so his batting has gone to a whole different level. Even though you need 30 odd in the last 2 overs, you still back Jadeja to get those runs. That’s the amount of faith his batting has given to the team.

Although I still feel he isn’t a T-20 over bowler, on a flat surface in T-20s he may struggle. Maybe Pandya and Jadeja can together finish the quota of 4 overs if needed.

However, on his day or when pitch his offering something Jadeja is more than capable of bowling his full quota. And before going to the World T-20 he is surely gonna be one the most important prospect for the Indian team.

3. Washington Sundar

Youngster in making

Oh Washy, what you have shown in the short span of your career is quite remarkable. Whether it’s a partnership with Shardul Thakur at the Gabba or sensational 85 not out against England in your 2nd test, the effort you will be really proud of.

He came in the team as the reputation of finger spinner who can bowl some quiet overs. We have seen Rohit and Kohli using him in powerplays in T20s a lot.

Apart from bowling some quiet overs, he can give the crucial breakthroughs as well. Before his debut in tests we hadn’t seen his batting ability much but once he got a chance he showed the world how capable his with the bat as well. He opens the batting in TNPL (Tamil Nadu Premier League) as well.

So along with Jadeja and Pandya, Sundar is one more name which is in the talks, credits to his performances. And I guess these 3 are the best all-rounders in Indian Cricket as far as T-20s are concerned.

Conclusion

All of a sudden India seems to be having a very rich vein of all rounders. Apart from these current all rounders, India has the luxury of Shivam Dube, Krunal Pandya and Vijay Shankar in the domestic.

However, if the primary all rounders ( Pandya, Jadeja, Sundar) is fit there is no room for any other all rounder at the moment.

Again IPL will play an important role in the selection of players for World T20 2021. If any batsman, bowler or the all-rounder is eyeing a comeback then he has to perform exceptionally well in the upcoming IPL.

So this was all about the all rounders scenario for India before World T20 this year.

Hi there great blog! Does running a blog similar to this require a great deal of work?
I have very little expertise in computer programming but I had been hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyhow, if you have any suggestions or tips for new blog
owners please share. I know this is off subject but I just needed to ask.
